Happy New Year! Of course, for our feline patients, the new year starts tomorrow. January 2nd is Happy Mew Year’s Day For Cats! If your kitty could make resolutions, what do you think she would want to achieve in the coming year? Read on as a local Eau Claire, WI vet lists some super cute resolutions for cats.
Work On My Lion Skills
Kitties are fierce predators in the wild. However, that doesn’t stop them from looking pretty silly—and super cute—when they are pouncing on their toys. Fluffy may want to work on her attack skills this year.
Soak Up More Sun
Chances are, one of your pet’s favorite napping spots is in a sunny patch. Fluffy doesn’t actually run on solar power, but we’re not sure she ever got that memo. Your kitty may want to spend more time in her favorite sunbeam in 2020.
Catch That Red Dot
Fluffy doesn’t have much chance of reaching this goal. However, she will have fun trying!
Explore All The Boxes
Fluffy’s fascination with boxes is one of her cutest quirks. Any time you set an empty box down near your feline friend, there’s a good chance that the box won’t stay empty for long.
Get Lots of Rest
It’s probably safe to say that our feline patients will sleep through most of the coming year. Help your drowsy pet make this goal by offering her lots of warm napping spots to curl up in.
Supervise The Human
Our furry pals always like to supervise their humans. Your kitty may try to supervise you even more carefully in 2020. Fluffy will keep a close eye on you as you go thorough your daily chores, and may even follow you from one room to another.
Train The Humans
Does your furball have you trained to pet her, feed her, or pick her up on demand? If not, Fluffy may want to complete your training this year!
Help With Chores
Kitties may give us a bit of cattitude on occasion, but they really are grateful for the love and care we give them. Your feline friend may try to lend a helping paw with things like changing the sheets and wrapping gifts.
